Qu: I am new to the work of Dr Kalim Siddiqui. There is a lot of material on this site. Where is the best place to start reading about his work?

A: It is true that there is a lot to read on this site, reflecting the amount of work that Dr Kalim did and the number of areas in which he worked. Where to start depends on what you are interested in.

The Introduction on the home page provides an overview of his work and importance.

For more analytical discussions, you may want to read Zafar Bangash’s introduction to his compilation of Dr Kalim’s writing, In Pursuit of the Power of Islam: Major Writings of Kalim Siddiqui (1996). Muhammad al-Asi’s paper Dr Kalim Siddiqui: A Man of the Qur’an and the Sunnah takes a different approach, as suggested by the title.
